Sleepless in Seattle

SO I went to visit john's family in seattle,wa 2 weeks ago and it was GREAT! I had such a great time getting to know his famiy. They are such wonderful people and so friendly. I felt instantly at home in their presence... good sign right?
They all met me at the airport and took me to get ice cream. Then we talked for a while, played Rook, one of their favorite card games, and then watched a movie. It was a little nervracking at first, but I became very comfortable quickly. The next day we woke up and had breakfast, then went to pike street market, where the have the sleepless in seattle diner, and walked around there! It smelled like fish and there were a ton of older homeless people playing their instruments and it was awesome! We saw the first starbucks and had excellent pizza and mexican bread. And then we rode the ducks bus tour that goes on land and water around downtown seattle. It was great, and really corny, but great! The tour guide was a theatre major in college (haha funny that she is doing duck tours... it made me giggle) and she was a little too much for me. We went in the water and saw the sleepless in seattle houseboat and other landmarks. We saw the seatlte mariner's staduim and the space needle, along with the troll under the bridge and about a million starbucks, along with the original skid row and the working cowboy that onlyrests on Labor day. It was corny like I said, but it was also a great way to see all of the cool things to see in seattle. Then we went to Zeek's pizza and it was AMAZING! oh my... that's all I can say! Then we toured the Microsoft Office and went home. At home we played more cards...they like cards, just like my family! And then the next day we went to church and everyone thought I was john's cousin...which was kinda funny...then his parents took us to the airport and saw us off! I had such a wonderful visit and I love them so much! His brother and sisters were amazing and his parents were so much fun! I felt immediately at home. I would say it was a very successful trip. :)

I think, therefore I am

So I think I know now... and it is scaring me out of my mind- but it's good for me. Sometimes you have to have faith and take a step in the dark to gain something amazing...

2:07 A.M.

I cannot for the life of me get my mind to shut off- so I am of course going to blog...

I have all of these things zooming around in my mind, making sleep a goal that is hard to reach. I have school that is beginning to keep me VERY busy, a new calling that is keeping me busy, and new and exciting things happeining in my life at the moment.

I can't help thinking, why now of all times does a certain phrase have to be running through my mind? I would much rather bury it so I don't have to think about it. Sometimes I think I analyze too much, other times, I don't think I think about it enough. Sometimes I think I know what my answer is and I can't seem to convince myself it is true. What is holding me back? Could it be I am scared of repeating past episodes on the dramatic channel that is my life? Could it be I actually know and that is what is scary? Could the answer be no, and I am scared of the real answer? I don't know for sure. I know that I need to pray about it, but for some reason if the immediate response doesn't come to my mind- maybe that is my answer. I have no clue! that is what I dislike about this moment in my life. Some days, I feel like I had no time to myself- if that makes any sense. Other days, I like hearing it in my mind. Maybe it's that I haven't adapted to all the changes in my life yet, I don't know for sure. I'm too fickle!

I UPDATED!

Okay- I know I've left you guys hangin for forever! Well the reason I am on Cloud Nine is because I am finally happy again! I feel more like myself now that a huge burden has been lifted. It is so nice to realize you are appreciated again!
I'm the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency in my ward now! I went from being in charge of activities for the whole ward to be in charge of activities for Relief Society! :) I love it- it's been a bit stressful, but its good for me! I am going to be teaching my first lesson next month, I am kinda excited and scared all at the same time.
I'm dating the most wonderful person! His name is John and he is wonderful. I feel appreciated and loved. He makes me want to be a better person when I am around him. We can talk about anything and we are not afraid to confront one another about issues. It's fabulous! Communication is great! I am going to meet his family in Seattle February 20th! I am so nervous but John assures me that his family loves me already! No worries everyone, no wedding bells!
My new roommates this semester are amazing! They are so fun and crazy! They definately fit in well with our apartment! One is from Riverton, UT and another is from TriCities Washington! They are so cute and so good for our apartment!
Those are all the things that are setting me on cloud nine at the moment!
Love you guys!
