I have been reflecting over some of the events that have happened in my life, and one of those is my start in the photography circle. I have been so blessed to have a great friend in my life who is encouraging and is always willing to help and listen. Tara is an extremely talented photographer and singer, while also balancing being a sweet and wonderful wife, mother and friend. I am so grateful for her example in my life. She has helped me develop my talents as a singer first, and now as a photographer. I know if I work as hard as she has and follow in her example, I can come close to her greatness!

Because I knew you I have been changed For Good.

As I have been sitting in the BYU computer lab writing a paper that I really wish would just write itself, I was listening to my Pandora Broadway station and one of my favorite songs came on, "For Good" from Wicked. I have been thinking a lot about my Grandmother who passed away in September of 2009. I have been missing her a lot lately, maybe because of some big changes that are coming our way this next semester. As the song was playing I began reflecting on all of the many things she taught me through her example. I know that I have learned a lot of things from her by way of my mother as well. I am excited to be able to show my children all the things my mother has taught me, and hopefully they will realize what a great person their grandmother is because of my grandmother. I know I am a stronger person because of my mother and grandmother. I love when I can feel her hand in my life as I move forward with John in our many adventures.

This post might not make any sense, but I just felt that I needed to write this ( or maybe I just needed a break from my paper... I dunno... haha).

New Camera!

Yes. It is true! and it is lovely!!! I am so excited to use it!! Hopefully soon too!

I'm Back!

Hello World!

I am finally back to the blogging world! The beginning of the school year was so crazy! It involved many sleepless nights, but it was all worth it! I finished my senior directing project (which I got a perfect score on, by the way)! It was Proof. It is a story of a young women who spent many years taking care of her Mathematical Genius of a Father who begins to go crazy and then dies of a heart attack. After his death, she is striving to find her purpose again. Hal, a former student of her father's is going through her dad's things, seeing if there is anything to publish. Claire, her sister, is coming from New York to help with the funeral. It is such an interesting play! I wish I could have done the whole thing. I had to perform a 30 minute cutting of the show for the project. It was such a great experience, especially since I was able to have really great friends along the way! Here are some pictures. The performances were better than I could have hoped for and I considered it a success! It was worth the late nights and hours away from John. AND NOW IT'S OVER! YAY! THANK YOU Alex, Brittany, Caitlin, and Dalton! It was an amazing adventure!

John is finally an Intermural Champion!

Yay! I am so proud of John and his flag football team!! It was an amazing win and a great season for them! So proud! Here are some pictures. Some of them are blurry a bit and it was really hard to take pictures without a flash in the dark. So I got a lot of huddles. Some of the pictures are from a previous game in the championship. Yay! I have more on my facebook page- I got tired of uploading them all... :D
